FUND FOR WAR MATERIAL. ARMY AND NAVY EQUIPMENT. LONDON, February 8. Tiro Riga correspondent of the Times states that M. Unschlight, tlio acting-Commisaar for War, and M. Kamoneff announce that there has been a satisfactory reply to the "Chamberlain” war material fund, which was opcncA to commence the building of a highly equipped navy and army. The fund has realised 8,000,000 roubles, which will be used for aeroplanes and tanks. They are arranging the enhancement of the military power by PanSoviet lottery tickets, worth a few kopeks each, in connection with the Soviet’s tenth anniversary colorations. They point out that every trifle helps the national lighting machine, and gives the winners a chance for valuable prizes, such as agricultural machinery or a world tour.
