TROWERN DEFEATS MILLER ON POINTS

Trowern, 10.4, outpointed Bob Miller., 10.0, in a fifteen rounds contest It was a thrilling bout marked by heavy punching. Trowern was within an ace of victory in the fifth round, but the Irishman made a remarkable recovery being exceptionally game. The New Zealander however forged ahead In the final rounds. , SULLIVAN OUTPOINTS McDonald at Sydney (Received Sunday, 5.5 p.m.) ‘ SYDNEY, Feb. 19. At the Stadium Sullivan, 11.43, outpointed Lachie McDonald, 11.1. The New Zealander forced the fighting throughout but Sullivan’s, superfine boxing enabled him ti» score a majority of points. Owing to a badly gashed eye as the result of a collision Of heads McDonald was placed at a considerable disadvantage and missed points. The decision met with a mixed reception.
