BETTY WINS SECOND SANDERS CUP RACE
(Per Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, Last Night. The second race for the Sanders Cup was sailed over a triangular course on Patterson’s Inlet (Stewart Island) on Saturday afternoon and resulted in another win for Betty (Canterbury) which crossed the line forty seconds ahead of Eileen (Otago), with Avalon (Auckland) Imln SCescs further back. Murlhika 11. (Southland) was a poor fourth, with Wellesley 11. (Wellington) bringing up the rear, 3mln IS secs behind the Southland boat.
