As follows:—36 cows and heifers m milk, 5,18 mos. in calf heifers, 12 Weancr heifers, 2 Herd sires, 5, two year old bulls and 4 wearier bulls. This herd was established with cows of the best proven producing strains and later some very choice cows were purchased at tho Belvedere Dispersal Sale. The sires used wore Grannies Noble, a maternal brother to Grannies Knight Alfalfa La Gloria, by Waipiko Masterpiece C. 8.8.; Waipiko Earl, by Eminent’s Fontaine Imp.; Woodstocks's Bantam, son of Woodstocks Baby C.0.M., 690 Lb. fat and traces twice to Eminents Fontaine Imp. The herd is very largely comprised of the progeny of the above sires. Most of the young stock arc by Alfalfa La Gloria and those cows which are not by him have mostly been bred to him this season.
