A brand-now rocking horse arrived in the Nursery the ’other day. It was meant for Pam's little sister, but I’m afraid Peter, Pam,-and the Family took psssession of it. It was a new toy, you see! The poor rocking-hohrse looked rather startled when everyone climbed on his back and demanded a ride. Then he nodded his head—and winked!- He rocked, and he rocked, and he rocked until Smut, who was at the back, took a leap into the air and landed bn the floor. <( I”1 have ’em all off before I’ve finished,” muttered the rocking horse.
