BRITISH LINEN EXPORTS
According to reports received by Mr L. B. Beale, British Trade Commissioner for New Zealand, from the Department of Overseas Trade, the August exports of linen goods from iho United Kingdom amounted to £755,957, as compared wth £724,460 in July and £745,005 in June. The total value of exports of linen manufactures from the United Kingdom for the eight months, ended August, 1927, 1926 and 1925 were £6,215,573, £6,650,328, nad £7,873,900 respectively. Th c total quantity of piece goods exported from thc United Kingdom for the eight months ended August, 1927, 1926, and 1925, were 49,796,600 square yards, 51,898,500 square yards, and 60,485,500 square yards respectively.
