FORD BUYS MILLION ACRES IN BRAZIL
RUBBER PLANTATION. [By Electric Cable-Copyright.] (Aust. and NZ. Cable Association.] (Received Thursday, 7 p.m.) NEW YORK, Sept. 14. A report here states that Henry Ford has purchased 1,200,000 acres in Para, Brazil, for 42,000,000 dollars for a rubber plantation in an effort to' effect further economies in tyre production. Ho has also obtained an option over 2,800,000 additional acres.
