FRANCE TO U.S. BY MOTOR BOAT
VESSEL SHAPED LIKE SUBMARINE. [By Electric Cable-Copyright.] [Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] (Received Wednesday, 10.45 p.ra.) PARTS, June 15. M. Ettoire, the Bugattl racing motor designer. Is constructing a super-motor boat in which he will attempt to make the voyage from Brest to New York In 4S hours. The boat is shaped like a submarine and fitted with eight petrol engines of a new type totalling 240 G horse-power.' It will Vie 120 feet long and 7 feet wide. Its. maximum speed will he S 7 miles hourly. If calm it ■will be navigated from Lhc bridge. But otherwise it will be sealed up like a submarine and will be steered by moans of a periscope. The crew will number eight.
