FRIENDLY RIVALS
SELFRIDGE AND WHITELY.
LONDON, April 1.
The “Daily Express” says the directors of Messrs William Whitely, Limited, have accepted the offer made by Messrs. Selfridge and Company Ltd,, to acquire control of their business.
The deal will involve a sum of between £8.000,000 and £10.000,000. The two firms will continue to trade in competition with each other.
