French Bank Repaying Advance From Britain
GOLD SECURITY BEING RESTORED

It is reported that the Bank of England has accpetcd the offer of M. Moreau, Governor of the Bank of Prance, for the prompt payment of £33,000,000, being the balance of an advance of £51,000,000 and tho restoration by the Bank of England of £18,000,000 .of gold deposited as security therefore. It is presumed the Bank of France is anxious to repay the debt earlier than arranged, and recover gold in order to strengthen the financial position preparatory to stabilisation in Prance. ,
