Messrs, A. Williamson, (Feildlngj, C. Clochotto (Ashhurst), and Dr. N. Fulton (Dunedin), were welcomed ais visitors to the Palmerston North Lunch Club, yesterday. An Invercargill Press Association message reports the death of Mr Cuthbort Cowan, aged 02 years, a member of Parliament during the Atkinson regime. The late Mr Cowan was one of the founders of the Southland Frozen Meat Company, and was for many years a member of the Land Board.
