Messrs. Murray, Roberts and Co., Ltd., are in receipt of the following wool market cablegram from their London agents dated April 1: “Sales have closed firm. Compared with closing rates of' last London sale, greasy Merino, best descriptions par to 5 per cent, advance; other descriptions advanced 5 per cent. Scoured Merino, good to extra good advanced 5 per cent.; scoured Merino, skin wool advanced 5 per cent, to 7£ per cent.; scoured Merino, - pieces and locks —wool suitable for carbonising advanced 5 per cent. Crossbred greasy fine par to 5 per cent, advance; medium and coarse advanced 5 per cent.; medium—wool suitable for Continent advanced 7'i per cent. Crossbred greasy lamb* advanced 7i per cent, to 10 per cent.
