MATERNITY HOME
COST TO THE HOSPITAL BOARD.
When mention was made pt the proposed Maternity Home at yesterday’s meeting of the Hospital Board, Mr. J. A. Nash M.P., drew attention to the low cost, of the institution to the Board. Tho estimated cost ol the building was £BSOO. The Maternity Home fund had reached £3350 which was subsidised £ for £ by the Government. Then there was the Government grant of £7OO which left only £llOO to be- found by the Hospftdl Board. : “This is very satisfactory,” stated Mr. Nash,” and the local authorities ought to be vefy pleased with the efforts of the Board.”
