Messrs. A. H. . Turnbull and Co. have received a cablegram from.their principals, Messrs. W. Weddel and Co., Ltd., dated London, February 18, reading (last week’s quotations in parentheses):—Dapish butter, 192 s to 1945. (188 s. to 1925.): New Zealand unsalted, 182 s; to 184 s. (182 s. to 184 s); New Zealand salted, 172 s to 1765. (1725. to 1745.); market quiet. Now Zealand cheese white, 91s. to 925. (935. to 945.); New Zealand cheese, coloured, 91s. to 925. (945. to 955.): market quiet. Canadian cheese, white and coloured, 98s. to 100 s. (98s. to 1025.). Messrs. M. A. Eliott have received the following cabled advice from their London agents;— Butter.—N.Z. controlled, 172 sto 1745: stored, 164 sto 1665. Market, very quiet.
