LIBEL ACTION IN FRENCH COURTS

' A resembling the Gladstone action will shortly be heard in the French Courts. Madame Aurore Sand, granddaughter of George Sand, tho authoress* is claiming 10,000 francs from Jacques Boulanger, journalist, because he described her relative as a flighty, impulsive person In an article upon George Sand’s love affairs. Madame Aurore says it is necessary to safeguard the honour of the Sand family.
