Miss Gladys Monorieff had a wonderful- reception at Daly’s Theatre, when# she' took the place of Mdlle. Elizabeth Pechy In the lending part of “The Blue Mazurka.” Her singing charmed the audience, who loudly applauded every number. The “Dally Express's” critic Of The Blue Mazurka” states: "Though managers for years have been searching for stars Miss Gladys Moncrleff’s stage presence and magnificent soprano were not thought worthy of attention. “They must have been wondering on Saturday night why this ladjl, who came 13,000 miles to be spurned, looked beautiful and sang devlnely.”
