In theory a motoring holiday is the most delightful way of spending one’s annual vacation. But. so many people who undertake such a trip And to their, surprise that It Is not so comfortable as they imagined. This is mainly because they neglect to observe a few precautions. The eyes should be cleansed every evening with a borax solution. Place a pinch of borax in an egg-cup of warm water and' then use with an eye-bath, or, failing that, bathe with a small piece of cotton wool. This will remove all particles of dust and relieves any irritation that may be felt. Whenever the car stops take the opportunity to get out and walk > a little. The change of position for a few minutes works wonders. Be sure your clothing is light and warm and your particular weak spot adequately protected. Provide a small case containing a soft towel, clean handkerchiefs. some eau de Cologne, face cream, powder, mirror and comb'. . I
