MISS MAE KINGSLEY
GIRL GLASS BLOWER. UNIQUE DEMONSTRATIONS. This unique demonstration of glass blowing to be given by the world’s only girl glass blower. Miss Mao Kingsley, at ihe Palmerston Show is specially interesting because of the fact that the discovery of the art oi glass making is lost in antiquity. Miss Kingsley will make many novelties in the way of kangaroos, swans, sailing ships with outspreading sails, birds, etc., and she is also an expert in the manufacture of scientific glass instruments. It. is astounding to see the articles take shape, from a bulb of moullon glass, under the delicate touch and surcncss of breath of this talented young Australian girl. The largo glass model of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, made by Miss Kingsley, will bo on exhibition in her largo marquee. Visitors should see Australia's ■jUlc wonder at work.
