MAGISTRATE’S COURT
Before Mr. R. M. Watson, S.M., at the Magistrate’s Court, a dispute concerning payment for rent was heard A. W. Staco v. A. C. Kerr.
After hearing tho evidence, the Magistrate gave judgment for plaintiff for the amount claimed, £3 and costs. Ho said .ho would accept the plaintiff’s version of the dispute, and the evidence of tho agent. Mr. H. M. Hare, that an entry had been made in the rent book in error. At the hearing, Mr. D. A. Elliott appeared for plaintiff, and Mr. J. C. Hill for the defendant.
