An exceedingly Interesting address given at the Luncheon Club yesterday by Mr. J. K_ Hornblow, of Foxlon, on “Impressions of Italy,” gained during bis recent tour of the old world. At last night’s meeting o£ the Central School committee, it was resolved to open the school baths on Wednesday November 10th. The liquidators of the New Zealand and Sourth Seas Exhibition Company, Ltd., were in hopes of making the final dividend in respect of return of share capital payable early in December, but this will not now be possible, owing to the Supreme Court having fixed December ill as the final date for creditors to render their claims, if any, against the company. In consequence ,tho final payment will of necessity bo now postponed until after that dale.
