LAST SEASON’S CHEESE
ON’ I.OiMtO.V MARKET. A QUESTION OF QUALITY. In connection with the largo stocks of butter and cheese on the Eon don marekt, some of the Waikato dairy companies holding stocks of last season's cheese have boon advised from independent sources that the quality of their cheese was rapidly deteriorating. One of these companies got into touch with the Control Board and asked that an inspection bo made of its choose in the Eondon stores. The company was advised to sell; the directors decided to sell a portion of it; the choose was sold, but instead of it realising a low figure, the price, was one of (he highest ruling for some time. This set the directors thinking. “Was there anything wrong with the cheese?”
