HOKOWHITU ENTERTAINMENT
The wind-up euchre and dance was hold at the Hokowhitu school on Friday evening when a. good gathering was present. The following were the winners of the various euchre prizes: Ladies’ first, half-dozen stainless cutlery, Mrs. Paddy; second, one bag coal, Mrs. C. Lane. Ladies points prize, Mrs. Petersen. Gents’ first, YOlb | bag sugar, Mr. E. Jones; second, one hag coal, Mr. Sylvester; gents' points | prize, Mr. Johnson. The waltzing competition was wor jby Mr. and Mrs. Harvey. The winners of the Lucky Spot prize were IMiss Petersen and Mr, Mudgvrlek. Miss Sylvester and Messrs. McKnowlcs and IG. Lane. Mr, MclvnoNvlos also acted Las M.C.
