PROFESSIONAL cyclists holdup SPORTS MEETING. [Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH. Nov. 1. A number of leading professional cyclists attempted to bold-up the, sports at the English Park stadium op Saturday night by demanding more, prize money after having entered | earlier in the week for races at the! prize money as advertised. The outcome was that the pro-, gramme did not commence till about j 25 minutes after the scheduled time I and Hie public grew impatient, quite' a number leaving prior to the commencement of the races.
