HOSPITAL APPEAL FUND COMMITTEE
A meting of the Hospital Comforts Fund Committee was held yesterday afternoon in the R.S.A. rooms. Mrs -S, Trask, presided, and there were atsn present Mesdames Erighden-Jones .Seifert,. Abraham, Wimsett, Collinson, Bosworth, Palmer, Wilton, Hag'gltt, and Messrs Y'oung, Phillips, Wimsett, and Oakley (secretary). The balance sheet, which showed a credit balance of £394 9s lOd, was read and adopted. Mrs Trask read a list of articles which the matron of the hospital had said she would like the committee to instat in the instulion. The list inlist included articles such as lounge chairs, gramaphone and records, a special chair, materials such as leather etc suitable for men in the consumptive wards to work with, dressing gowns, meal trays, games such as chess and draughts. cardigans and slippers, and the usual Christmas comforts. On the suggestion of Mr. Oakley, the meeting decided to send a list of the articles to the Shannon and Levin districts, and to inquire if these districts had any further articles limy would like placed on the list.
