THE ROYAL NURSERIES
If the present arrangements are adhered to, and the infant Princess Elizabeth is left for the period of her parents tour to New Zealand and Australia with her Royal grandparents at Buckingham Palace, she will find a suite of nurseries, fully ready, says the Weekly Dispatch. The Queen has never had the nurseries, which were occupied by her own children, dismantled, and a couple have always been kept aired and provided with new toys for visiting babies since the birth of Princess Mary’s elder son. The nurseries at Glamis have never been deserted either for before Lady Strathmore’s youngest child quitted their shelter little grandchildren wore paying visits to the historic castle
