A CLEVER VETERINARY FEAT
One of (he luckiest dogs in England | belongs to a farmer at North Morc- | ton, near Wallingford. He is a j springer spaniel. a nd not as intelligent in some ways as most of his kind, for a few weeks it go lie. was careless enough to be caught in a mowing machine, and unfortunately had two legs almost severed. A clever veterinary surgeon was called in and he would not hear of giving up hope. He set the logs in plaster of Pit.ris, and they recovered so rapidly that the dog was soon about as w&il as ever.
