FEILDING CATTLE FAIR

SATISFACTORY SAKE. There was a large entry of cattle for the. annual Feilding Cattle Fair yesterday, which were sold at satisfactory rates. The attendance of visitors was particularly large, and although the sale opened slowly, competition developed as it proceeded. The bulk of the entry comprised youngstock, and where quality was offering good prices were paid. The following are the quotations: Fat lines: Heifers, t’7 15s to £lO 4s; cows, £7 5s to £8 17s fid; bullocks, £0 2s fid to Ml 14s. Store lines; S.H. steers, £3 18s; yoaring P.A. steers, £4 3s, £4 5s to £4 19s; store cows. £2 7s 6d, £2 15s, £3 7s to £3 15s; yearling heifers, 13s, 275, £2 3s, £3 7s to £3 15s: yearling P.A. heifers, 32s 6d, £3 5s 6d to £4; 2yr. empty heifers, £2 10s, £3 6s, £3 17s, £4 7s to £4 7s 6d; Hereford steers, £6 18s Cd: 2-yr. A very small yarding of sheep wore sold as under:- —

Fats: Wethers, 23s 9d, 25s to 25s Id; ewes, 17s 3d, 18s fid. 19s, 20s 3d, 21s Id, 25s fid to 275; hoggets, 23s to 24s Od.
