PROFESSIONAL BOXING
LECKIE DEFEATS GUNN. [Per Press Association.] DUNEDIN, Last Night. The professional contest between H Gunn (Timaru), 9st., and H. Leckie (Dunedin), 9st„ took place In His Majesty’s Theatre to-night. The contest went the full 15 rounds, and the referee, Mr. D. Patterson, awarded the fight to Leckie, a decision which certainly did not meet with general approval.
