The STEVENSON Jacking System. HAS THE FOLLOWING ADVANTAGES: —SAFETY.—The car cannot slip off the Jack, no matter how hard you may tug at a tight-fitting wheel or rim. 2. SPEED.—Any wheel can be raised in 20/40 seconds under any conditions of road or weather, day or night. 3. CLEANLINESS.—To raise a punctured wheel it is not necessary to touch anything except a perfectly clean handle. 4. CONVENIENCE. (a) The Jacks are always in position ready for use, and cannot be mislaid or forgotten. (b) The washing of the car is much simplified. (c) The road springs can be greased with ease. (d) The brakes can be quickly adjusted. (c) The car can bo set up on blocks when it is not being used for a time, this operation only requiring a few minutes. (f) Either Jack in the lowered position will serve as a firstrate thief-proof device. (g) A front wheel can be interchanged with a back wheel in a few minutes, and with only one jacking operation. j.
