The weather was fine in the initial stages, but during the afternoon occasional light rain fell. The going was good. The totalisator put through £11,380, as compared with £12,731 fort ths same day last year. During the progress of the Plying Handicap. Polar came across, and seriously interfered with Automaton and Jeannette. C. Stratton, rider of Polar, appeared before the stewards, and for an infringement of the rules, was suspended from riding for one month. Orchid cantered round to the three furlong: post ,and then sprinted homo Cimabuo appeared to bo going better than Welkno at the end of half a mile in 50sec, but the former apIwared to have a good deal the best of the weights.

Mime sprinted half a mile, the best three furlongs taking 38 3-sse c s. Laughing Prince and Bourse finished together at the end of a halfmile sprint in .Msec.

Sovena, after beginning slowly, sprinted half a mile in 521 see . Panther and Tone sprinted down the straight. Mandy and Gardant from an absolutely standing start dashed over half a mile in 49 4-5.

High Pilch ran right away from Main, at the end of seven furlongs, which took linin. 33 t-sscc.

Mister Gamp was going better than Vexatious at the end of a half-mile sprint, whih took 51 3-ssec. Stream and Agitato took 50 4-ssec to run half a mile.

Glad Light and Rigoletto were not extended to run half a, mile in

5.1 4-ssec. Vaward jumped off at the six furlong post, being picked up by Seatown at the end of two furlongs, which he ran in 26sec, the whole journey taking linin. I’OsOq. Kilmezzo and Cat Call were together at the end of hail a mile in olisec. Tanadees and Merry Day jumped off at the seven furlong post on the tan, but the pace was not on until the end of a furlong. Tanadees beat the black mare home in Imin. 17 3-ssec, Spode and Climax sprinted down the straight. Thomond, on the tan, took 51 Jscc to run half a mile. Sir Moment going freely, ran over half a mile in 50 4-ssec. Queen’s Choice and Diogenes were companions in a gallop over six furlongs in Imin 20sec, the last halfmile taking 51 4-sscc. Grey Mist and Misgovern galloped halt a mile in 51 4-ssoc. Avola and Resinous pleased by the way they sprinted half a. mile in 51sec. Ardfinnan took .Imin 35se c to run seven furlongs. Joy Bird's half-mile in 50sec, was done in good style. Santiago was going better than 'Koauau at the end of five furlongs, in Imin 7lsec. Volplane and Tom Bracken took 52scc to run four furlongs. The Bolter galloped six furlongs in ’imin IS 4-ssec. After breakfast there was a slight 'breeze, and the tracks may have been a little faster. No Favours jumped off first after 'passing the seven-furlong post and ran the last six in Imin 20sec. Kilfaire and Gold Box were to have galloped five furlongs together, but Gold Box broke away first and ran the distance in .Imin ssec, Kilfaire taking 4-sscc longer. ' Dady Gay galloped nine furlongs in 2min. 221 sec. Comedic, parrying a good weight, galloped five furlongs in Imin '4 l-ssec. Reckless and Par Money showed plenty of dash o\\.- th-jm furlongs in '37sec. Lady Passenger was going easily over seven furlongs on the tan in Imin 35sec. Royal Damon and Epistle were responsible for a good effort over half a mile in 49 3-ssec. 1 Humouresciuo and Royal Game 'wore companions in a half-mile in laOsec.
