AUSTRALIA TO NEW ZEALAND ARRANGEMENTS BEING MADE. [By Electric Cable —Copyright.] [Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] SYDNEY, Oct. 13. Captain Robertson, who arrived at Sydney by the Ulimaroa to complete arrangements for the projected flight from Sydney to Now Zealand, says the scheme is entirely a private venture financed by private capital. Interested Now Zealanders had financed the flight to the extent ot £SOOO. Captain Robertson proposes to secure in Queensland a seaplane which he considers suitable for the flight, but the present engine will be replaced by one similar to that used by Sir Alan Cobham in his recent flight. Captain Robertson, who will enlist the assistance of an Australian pilot to accompany him, will make Laperouse the lumping off place. It is estimated that the flight, given ordinary conditions, will occupy 13J hours.
