FALL DOWN VESSEL’S HOLD
WATERSIDER INJURED. [Per Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 11. While assisting to remove the hatch coverings from No. 2 hold of the steamer Kia Ora this morning, a watersider, named Jack Ayers, fell down the hold, a distance of twenty feet, and fractured four ribs.
