Mr Jack Kitchen left Feilding yesterday for his home in Queensland, after spending a holiday with his father, Mr D. Kitchen and relatives in Feilding. At a meeting of the Feilding Football Club, W. Bramwell wa selected club captain and D. Spence, deputy captain. Mr W. S. Niccolls was elected hon. secretary, and it was resolved to endeavour to arrange for the annual inter-club match, Feilding v. Huimai, on April 17. For practice purposes a general muster of players is to be called for April 10. To-night, at 8 o’clock, in the Stanway hall, there will be a grand concert given by Mr Alf, Kingston and party, assisted by Mrs Shakes, Miss Younger and the Rev. A. Mitchell. After the concert, the harvest festival gifts will be sold without reserve.
