STOCKTON MINE IDLE

BOCAL MEN ALLEGEDLY PASSED OVER. [Per Press Association.] WESTPORT, Last Night The Stockton mine is idle as the result o£ a dispute between the miners and management over the employment of some men, the management having, it is alleged, given preference to some late-comers, while the miners contend that men unemployed waiting in the district should have been the first considered. Apparently all was right on Friday to resume work to-day, but a hitch occurred on Saturday and the mine is still idle.
