QUARREL ON STATION
HUSBAND SHOOTS WIFE’S ASSAILANT. HELD ON MURDER CHARGE. [By Electric Cable—Copyright.] [Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] (Received Monday, 10.25 p.m.) MELBOURNE, March 29. Following a quarrel between James McDonald and Mrs Angrove, both of whom wore at Glenloht station, Wychoproof, McDonald was fatally shot with a snot gun. Later, Arthur Angrove, husband of Mrs Angrove, was arrested and charged with murder. It is alleged that both McDonald and Mrs Angrove were quarrelling in the kitchen of the station, when McDonald forced the woman’s head under a tap. Her husband heard her cries for help and immediately after he entered the kitchen, the shooting occurred.
