What Senior-Sergeant Barrett described as "One of the worst cases ho had to deal with,” was before Mr Maunsell, S.M., to-day, when Leonard Parnworth( who did not appear) was charged with failing to comply with the terms of his probation license, i Defendant, for breach of a maintenance order in respect to ids wife some months ago, was ordered to Iconic up for sentence when called upon, to report to the police monthly, land also to notify live police if he leit the district.
Senior-Sergeant Barrett said defendant had not done so and his whereabouts were unknown. The Magistrate imposed sentence of six months’ imprisonment
