In speaking: on "Our Glorious Opportunity" last evening: in the Thoosophioal Hall, Miss Oppenhcimer explained that the teachings of Theosophy showed how’ in the coming era each one of us can be of great service to humanity by endeavouring to make brotherhood a living reality. “When one goes with a tide/’ said the speaker, “it is ever easier to rush forward and at the moment there Is a tide of spiritual force which will help us in any effort we may make towards working for humanity in any branch of human activity. It seems incredible how liljtlc real interest is taken by tiie masses in the work of the League of ‘Nations, and yet the failure of such a body would mean a dire calamity for the human race. There is so much to do these days that one could really find no time for trivialities.” The lecturer implored her hearers to bo alive to the splendid opportunities now at hand and to become co-work-ers with Him who is carrying on God’s plan to bring about the next stage in evolution for mankind; a time of pence and goodwill, growth and happiness for all.
