REGISTRATION OF ELECTRICAL WIREMEN. TINDER Section 18. Subsection (1) U of the Electrical Wiremcn’s Registration Act, 1325, no person other than a registered electrical wiroman, or the holder of a provisional license, with or without the assistance of apprentices ,in any case, shall bo engaged in the work of wiring any premises for electric lighting, heating or power purposes. Application tor Registration under Section 8, Subsection (1), paragraphs (c) or (d) shall be made within nine months after the commencement of t.h e A.ct. The Act will come into force on the Ist April, 1326, and application forms may bo obtained from any Electrical Supply Authority. Copies of the Act may be obtained from the Government Printer, Wellington, post free, on payment of 7d, per copy. Application for registration shair be made to the. PURSUANT to section 12 of “Tire Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913," I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that at a Poll of the Ratepayers of the Makerua Drainage District, taken on the 4th day of March, 1926, on the proposal of the Makerua Drainage Board to borrow the sum of Fifteen thousand pounds for the following purposes;— Completing the erecting of River Protection Works on the banks of the Manawatu and Tokomaru Rivers, and adjacent thereto, and for the purchase of land upon which any such works may have already been erected or may hereajrter be erected and for the construction of drains in the Board’s District, and for the purchase of necessary machinery, plant and land.
