The Hamilton team should . j arrive either to-night of on Monday ‘i morning. j ' I The first match on Monday will be ’ between Christchurch and Homewood lA. teams. The southern team holds the j I Savile cup, which was won at Christ- | ' church last year, although the then i' ' I holders, Hawke’s Bay A., did not de- > 1 fend the trophy. Thc Homewood team, which makes its first appear-j 1 ance in Feilding. Is a fairly strong 1 ' combination. In a match last week’ ' at Walpawa, Hawke’s Bay A., playing without W. Mackenzie, defeated Homewood by 9 goals to 6—a very good indication of the strength of the, new team. On the same day, Home-j wood A. defeated Hawke's Bay B. by 6 goals to 5. The southern team is also a strong four. j Commencing at 2 o’clock in the af- j ternoon Hawke’s Bay B, team will j 3 meet Feilding 8., and following the! afternoon tea adjournment, Walrar-1 apa will meet Parewanui. Playing at; 3 the Feilding Cub’s tourney last year, Parewanui defeated Wairarapa by 12 1 goals to 3, but It Is expected that the visitors from the other side of the ranges will more than hold their oifni on Monday afternoon. | Thc following comprise the Home- ] wood teams: —A: W.
