2,000,000 MORE SHEEP IN N.S.W.

The Stock Branch of the Department of Agriculture estimates that the number of live stock in the State at December 31 last was: Horses, 502,976; cattle, 2,582,988; sheep, 40,761,504.
The returns show a decrease for the year of 21,000 horses and 40,000 cattle, but an increase of nearly two million sheep.
