AUTUMN FLOWER SHOW
The Palmerston North Horticultural Society has decided to hold an Autumn Flower Show on March 13. A comprehensive schedule has been drawn up, embracing all sections of gardening besides docorativ e work and homo industries. The popularity of the Palmerston North Soccty has been growing within the last year or two and |the forthcoming show promises to create a further record. Interest is also added by the presentation to the Society of a handsome silver cup by Mr. Ja's. Wallace. This trophy is for the best all round garden display and lay out, competitors not to be connected with gardening as an occupation, and the valuation of their properties to be under £IOOO. The cup is to be won three times in succession before it becomes personal property. A sub-comrnittec has been set up to draft further conditions.
