It is reported that the common* wealth liner CoO&'e. late Neumunster, has been sold to Finnish buyers for £lB 000. Delivery will be taken whore she Is now lying in Britain. Sinoe the'lnauguration cf the Shipping Board, thirty-seven old or nn* suitable ships have been sold, includmg eleven since Mr. Lai kin arrived in London in April. It is generally admitted the prices are satisfactory, '(.‘here remain seven surplus steamers for sale; Erkunda, Emlta, Errlba, Dlungra, Dinoga, Dromana and Boorftl. The negotiations have reached an advanced stage and when.these are sold, there -will remain only ten vessels now in commission, namely five Bay liners and two Dale, besides the Boorara, Bulla and Carina. It is understood the shlpowning and shipbuilding communities aro forecasting an early move in the directum of selling the remainder of the fleet, or supplementing it with now liners.
