Shipping Coy. advise that the TREDINNICK continued her voyage from St. John and Newport News from Panama on January S. and is now due in Auckland on February 5. The MARARC-X which arrived from the south on Sunday at Wellington will pay off to-duy and lay up indefinitely. The R.M.S. MARAMA is due at Auckland to-m' jtow morning from Sydney and will sa’l on the return trip on Sunday next. The MOEKAKjI which sailed from Melbourne on Saturday for Wellington via the Bluff is due at the capital port on Friday next and will sail on the Saturday on the return trip. The MAUNGANUI should reach Wellington to-morrow from Sydney and will sail again on Thursday on the return trip. Vaucounver Mail Steamers. The R.M.M.S. The Union Company have placed on order with hiaple- - and Mr Her Ltd. Old Kilpatrick, Glasgow, for a now up-to-dale 4000-ton cargo steamer for the East Coast service. The now boat is to be able to steam 11 knots, and will be fitted wMh a single propeller. Her principal dimensions will be: Length 315 feet; beam 45 feat; depth, 25 feet. She will have, an exceptional array of derricks. They wfll comprise one 20-ton derrick, one 15ton derrick, and the remainder wID be of 8 tons. The ship will have five hatches. She Is to be delivered at Home about July 81, and la expected to arrive In New Zealand at the end of September. It is reported that the UuloxV Company Is ordering, another boat similar to the Karamu, to bo delivered at the end of May.
