' VTOTICE Is hereby given that the A' following Special Order was [ passed at a Special Meeting of the Board on the 17th December, 1925, |viz. ~ • ' I ‘Tn pursuance of exercise of the powers vested in it by subsection B of section 16 of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913,” and of all other Acts and powers (if any) it in that behalf enabling the Makerua Drainage Board hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows: <1) Thatthe Board proceed to raise a loan of one hundred and twenty thousand pounds- £l2O, 000) for'the' purpose of paying off the whole of special loans aggregating this amount theretofore raised for the purpose of erecting River Protection Works etc., and maturing, on the first day of August, 1926. (2) That such loan be called "The Makerua Drainage Board River Protection Loan of £120,000, 1926.” That the currency of the said loan shall be for a period not less than twenty years from the Ist August, ,1926.' (4) That the interest on the said loan shall be at the rate of Six pounds (£6) per centum per annum and be payable half yearly on the first day of February and August in each and every year. That the Board doth hereby appropriate and pledge as security for the repayment of the said loan and the interest Sinking Fund and other charges thereon a special -rate, on the following graduated scale. A rate of five pence and one farthing in the f upon the rateable value of all rateable property classed A in the Board’s District. A rate of three pence and fifteen sixteenths of a, penny in the f upon the rateable value of all rateable property classed B in .the Board’s District.
