A. AND P. ASSOCIATION
SHOW ARRANGEMENTS. A meeting of the general committee of the Feilding A. and P. Association was held last evening, when the president, Mr. E. E. Short presided over a large attendance. In view of Mr. F. W. Cornwall being unable to lecture and demonstrate on the Jersey cattle class, the matter of a lecturer was left to the chairman and Mr. Dermer. The following donations were acknowledged:—J. S. Tingey, £5 5/-; W. Perry, £4 4/-; Gear Meat Company, £3 3/-. In connection with improving the sheep pens, Mr. J. Bartholomew was accorded a vote of thanks on behalf of the Association. It was resolved that all senior stewards be in attendance at the Showground on Monday, February 1, at 10.30 a.in. The question of Junior stewards being also in attendance was left to the discretion of the seniors. The sheep and horse stewards are requested to attend at 2 (p.m, on Monday. In order to facilitate the unloading of sheep, it was decided to secure three light unloading stages and it was hoped that this would overcome the difficulties experienced In the past.
