THREATENS TO SHOOT. STRUGGLE FOR REVOLVER. The story of an exciting incident that might easily have ended In a tragedy was told at the Newcasth Police Court. Albert Donaldson (21) of Speer’s Point, was fined £3 ani witnesses’ expenses for having dis* charged a revolver in a public place) and £1 for having an unregistered re* volver. According to the cadence of the police Donaldson wanted to marry ,1 girl with whom he had become pcquainted only the previous day, an< had threatened to shoot her If she :re fused. She made a complaint to he; employer (named Judd), and he askef Donaldson for his revolver, but Donaldson refused to give It up, and i struggle occurred, during which thf revolver was discharged. Judd then took Donaldson to thj police station and gave him Into o“** itody. Donaldson said he wanted t( marry the girl, and had brought alonj the marriage consent forms. ;
