“Hullo, sonny,” said the father of the budding boy scout, just back from the week-end camp; “is it true what I hear—that the scoutmaster called you a blockhead?” “No,” said the lad, shaking his head lustily. “Are you sure?" “Yes, quite sure, dad.” “Well, what did he say, then?” asked the father. “Oh, he told me to keep my hat on tight, as there were woodpeckers about.’’
