“Lin: FOR MANLY MEN" LONDON, December, 22. The answers to the Y.M.C.A., Worldwide questionnaire, instituted for the purpose of ascertaining the mind of youth on presentday problems, says a Geneva message, reveal marked differences of opinion regarding war. The German boys express the opin-' lon that war, though essential, is not nice, but that it is only by such means that Germany can regain her selfrespect and recognition by the world. American boys state that they are opposed to war, but assert that if Amerlfaa went to war they are ready to help her. A British youth says that a war is a fine life for manly men. Another writes that football and * matrimony are the best preventatives of war.
The English boy declares that the girls’ increasing freedom makes flirting easy and that, therefore, there is less Intriguing.
