Saltash, and Tamar, has been barren ever since she threw St. Germans and he will probably prove her last foal. The price Mr Whitney paid for St. Germans Is not stated but immediately after his purchase he was insured for £25,000 at Lloyds.

Son-In-Law Is a stallion strongly In demand In England. His list filled this year at 800 guineas, and is already full for the.next two years at that fee.
