Seventeen Bishops have been arrested at Moscow, Including the Metropolitan Peter, the highest dignitary of the Orthodox Church. The arrests are the outcome of the Soviet’s renewed persecution of Christians. It charges the ißshops with refusing to recognise the Living Church and while superficially orthodox, are actually teaching modernised heresy.
